Flashback has won the Award of Excellence. The jury, consisting of four professionals, decided that out of the 85 films in the international competition, Flashback was the entry that deserved this special mention next to the winner of the festival. Director Linnea Widén responds: "What a wonderful surprise! I´m happy and honoured to recieve such a great award. It acts as an encouragement to me to continue making films that mix seriousness with humour! Thank you!"
